Dot to Dot presents: Health and Healing: In Your Own Hands: Part 1
Change is a necessary and vital part of life. Change can create a lack of balance and also restore it. The power behind change is something to which we all have access. You are the beginning of any change. What you see, feel, and choose to believe is the center of everything.
For years now I have had the pleasure of interviewing authors and guests from all over the world who have helped demonstrate changes not only in how we heal but also what creates the best possible scenario for healing. As we change as individuals, so does the world in which we live. As we heal ourselves, in turn we heal our world.
Since the beginning of time, healing has been a part of life on earth; the Earth herself in a constant state of rebalancing, attempting to heal whatever changes have been brought about, some by mankind. Our own beliefs and understanding about healing changes constantly. New thoughts giving rise to new fields in healing are emerging each and every day. Wise and ancient traditions are re emerging, reminding us of truths that have always been.
I am excited and honored to welcome Dr. Robin Kelly to our special two part show, entitled, “Health and Healing; In Your Own Hands.” Dr. Kelly was born, raised and educated in England in traditional Western medicine. Dr. Kelly’s own journey in healing led him into the exploration of the connection between body, mind and spirit. In his book, “The Human Antenna, Reading the language of the Universe in the songs of our cells”, Dr. Kelly reveals to us a new paradigm for healing in today’s world. Many years ago Dr. Kelly moved to live in New Zealand, where he continues to live and practice healing today. His own professional model changed as he embraced and incorporated the principles of healing found in acupuncture, energy psychology and many other numerous ways of bringing soul into medicine. I can think of no better person with whom to explore the changes occurring in healing modalities today, than Dr. Robin Kelly.

Dot to Dot Presents:
"2012: The End?" with mystic,, spiritual teacher, composer and author, David Lewis
2012 is a date many dread, others eagerly await. It marks the end of the ancient Mayan calendar. Some prophesy it's the end of the world. Other's that it's a wormhole in time, one that will transport us into the golden age of higher consciousness. Still others say it's just another date.
So who's right? And is there anything we can do besides wait four years to find out? David Lewis, founder of the Hearts Center and a messanger for the ascended masters, will tell us why it's important to be aware of all the predicitons and prophecies, from indigenous prophecies of great upheaval to NASA's prediciton that the sun will reverse its magnetic poles at that time - and the five things they must do before 2012, come what may.

"Loosing our 'selves'"
This Wednesday nights Dot to Dot will be a very important conversation, and probably geared toward parents, and women in general. My guest for this show will be Taylor Wilshire, author of 'The Book of Mom'. Taylors novel is an accounting of her own personal life, leaving the high position of a Fortune 500 company, huge salery, to be an At Home Mome after the birth of her first son. She approached her new role with a vengence, and had a second son several years later. Somewhere after the birth of son #2 she called her best friend, grieving, scared and lost. 'Where am I', 'Who am I'......and 'I hate my husband'. Sound familiar? This is not an isolated event, or a one time, sometimes happens scenario. This is real life, that happens to MOST women who have children and find themselves lost in the surging waters of parenting. Most of us have been there, or are still balancing the most important roles of our lives, 'Doing it all for others' while 'trying to save our selves'.
Please join me this week. If you know of anyone who is struggling or has words of wisdom and advice, please let them know they too are welcome to join in the conversation. Together, one Dot at a time, we can join together to support, understand, and create peace of mind and happiness for all.

Dot to Dot: Creating Global Community welcomes:
Jeff Brown, author of "Soul Shaping: Adventures in Self-Creation"
Once a criminal attorney, Jeff Brown was called to a more heartfelt path. In his book 'Soul Shaping', Jeff shows us a new and distinctly human paradigm for expanding our consciousness: Ascending with both feet on the ground. This paradigm is rooted in the destiny of our daily lives, and makes no distinction between our spiritual quest and our emotional life. Our feelings, unresolved issues and life experiences, are the grist for the soul mill that takes us higher. Rather than looking for the answers outside our ourselves, we choose to look inside, in our often ignored bodies of wisdom.

Dot to Dot presents a very special two part program:
"Endangered Mother Earth"
"As we continue our discussion on Dot to Dot each week on topics that help us work toward building a healthy and peaceful global community we must be pay immediate attention to the 'at risk' factors of our home, the Earth. Without having this discussion, without raising our voices and finding solutions that we are willing to instigate, the hope for achieving a new and better world will be gone.
Changes have come that are affecting all of us in the world. The planet is coming under greater and greater stress as the population climbs towards nine billion and we burn more fossil fuels. The situation poses a clear and present danger to our continued wellbeing and we are rapidly running out of time. This program will discuss how we can best look after the Earth. Come join your host Catherine Bradford, along with special guest Dr. John James, author of "The Great Field" and monthly newsletter "Footprints" as we discuss the reality of our endangered Mother Earth."

"Teacher or Student: When to teach and when to learn"
I have little doubt that we are all here in this life to be both teachers and students. There are times we find ourselves focused solely on learning, and our energy remains that of the student. And, at other times we seem to be fulfilling the role of a teacher, helping close friends and family, perhaps even strangers in their own growth and learning process. Do you know when you are in these roles? Do you find yourself often stuck in only one, wishing for the other? Come join us for what will prove to be a very interesting and inspiring evening on conversation.

Dot to Dot explores Body Image. Love your body, all of it.
with Sara Maria Dreisbach
How can one persons negative body image effect not only those around them but our entire world? As we face an epidemic of people who 'hate' the way they look in our country, what can we do to understand the ripple effect this may have on the worlds view of us? How does Americas preoccupation with looking good keep us from our authenticity and how does this contaminate the worlds view of us as a people? Vain nation? It's an interesting point of view. Is this body image issue as serious in other countries? Come join us this week, on Dot to Dot, as we tackle this tough and important topic.

Dot to Dot: "Help! Reaching out to those around you!"
So many times we struggle with turning to those around us for help, seeing this action as a sign of weakness or embarrassed by the idea that we cannot do it all overselves. Often we fight over control, not wanting to relinquish this place that, in the end, only isolates us. How do we break away from impossibly high standards, our self imposed meter of perfection? Do you find it difficult to ask others for help? Come join us this week on Dot to Dot as we explore turning to others and our communities to bring us back into a higher state of happiness and balance.

Dot to Dot welcomes Fred Hargesheimer, “The School that Fell From the Sky”
Tonight we welcome Fred Hargesheimer, WWII Pilot whose plane was shot down in the South Pacific during the war. Fred parachuted from his crippled P38 onto the island of Papua New Guinea where for 31 days he survived by living on roots and snails near the Pardi river. He was found by the Meramera people who took him to their village, nursed him back to health, and most importantly, kept him hidden from enemy patrols. Eventually Fred was rescued by the U.S. military and returned to his homeland. Many years later he would return to this South Pacific Island, reuniting with his saviors. He learned of their need for a school so Fred returned once again to the states and over the next three years raised the money needed to build his rescuers a school. Come join us as we honor Fred, hear his remarkable story that truly exemplifies coming together to build a better and peaceful global community.

"Faith: Religion versus Spirituality"
I often hear, "I'm spiritual not religious". And yet I often witness what appear to be great miracles of faith. Also, how is it that so many of us are witnessing death and destruction in the Name of God? Isn't this the deepest of contradictions? How can we go forward building a global community that embraces the variations of seeing God? No doubt this will be a very interesting conversation. Come join us!

"Living with Hate, Anger and Fear"
Last week on Dot to Dot we had a great conversation about what is "love", each of our group sharing their thoughts and feelings. I was aware of the sincerity in each person for living a life which is abundant in love, but couldn't help but wonder about the flip side of the coin. What about hate, what about anger, what about fear? In today's world we don't have to look far to see evidence that these serious and destructive beliefs still exist and are damaging the very community of peace we are attempting to define and create. How do we face these issues? How do we work actively in each of our own lives to help eliminate these states of being that only bring harm and sadness to the world in which we live. Come join us in this important conversation.

“What is Love?”
No matter what your belief system, religious or spiritual, everyone has an idea of what love 'is' and what it means to "love" someone, or "be in love". When we speak about Divine Love however, and God's Love, how is this different from the love we spend so much time fussing over as human beings? Is there only ONE type of love? One way of loving? Come join Dot to Dot's host Catherine Bradford and this weeks 'Inner Circle' to hear what will no doubt be a very interesteing conversation.
Please take a moment to watch this slide show when asking yourself "What is Love". Each photo is the answer. (Slide show opens in PowerPoint.)

"Dot to Dot" presents: "What is community?"
There is little doubt that we are moving into a new way of living in this world. As boundaries drop and people come together from all over the world, our global community begins to take on new meaning. Many of us are finding ourselves searching for like- minded people in our own neighborhoods; people we can share with, create with and reconnect with that will help support us in our personal journey toward living in the highest possible state of self. During our first shows we will be taking a look, learning from one another, just what this starting point looks like. How can we reconnect in ways that honor the individual and honors the whole?
