About Christina Marino
Christina Marino is a holistic primary health care practitioner who has been in private practice since 1994. Once a member of Vie Magazine’s Health Advisory Board, she has authored numerous articles and lectures frequently on Chinese Medicine & Alternative Therapies. She is licensed by the State Acupuncture Committee and has a “Diplomate in Acupuncture” from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists. She received her Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Medicine in Santa Monica. She then attended Hahneman’s College of Homeopathy, a three and a half year program studying under the top Homeopath Doctors in the country. Christina went onto a three year Shamanic program through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies to learn from the well known Michael Harner and Alicia Gates. She also trained with indigenous shamans in the Peruvian Amazon. She enhanced her studies with the top medical intuitive in the country Carolyn Myss and Norm Shealy MD. She attained certificates in energy healing and testing with Donna Eden, and Advanced Spirit Releasement Therapy with Betsy Bergstom and Judith Baldwin. She also appeared on NBC “Extra” as a featured guest in a daily program titled “Good Medicine”. Christina is finishing a four year program in Hands on Healing with the reputable Barbara Brennan School of Healing. A vegetarian for over 20 years, Christina has been very interested since a young age in dietary and nutritional therapies. Her practical and philosophical approach demonstrates that physical healing is inseparable from the mental, emotional and spiritual healing of an individual. She frequently visits the well known John of God in Brazil, who’s known as the “Miracle Healer Of Mankind” and requests healing for her patients.
